Andrew Adams

Andrew J. Adams is Practice Leader of the Labor & Employment Practice Group at DarrowEverett LLP, where he also serves as a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution and Regulatory & Compliance Practice Groups. He advises organisations on employment law, workplace investigations, regulatory compliance, and government enforcement, representing clients ranging from small local businesses to multinational corporations on matters spanning acqui-hire transactions and due diligence on reverse SPAC mergers to federal and state litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and contract disputes.

Andrew regularly advises clients on employment agreements, restrictive covenant compliance, and regulatory compliance challenges, and delivers custom training programs on issues including wage and hour compliance, paid and unpaid leave, ADA accommodations, and workplace drug and alcohol policy. He has experience with state and federal agency investigations, including matters before the U.S. Department of Labor, and on the labor side of his practice, negotiates collective bargaining agreements and litigates unfair labor practice charges on behalf of employers.

Before joining DarrowEverett, Andrew served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a labor and employment associate at a boutique New England law firm. He was educated at Western New England University School of Law, where he served as Publication Editor for the Western New England Law Review and received the Cooley Award for the highest achievement in labor law.
