Duncan Green

Duncan Green is a Professor in Practice at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he is the Director (alongside Tom Kirk) of the LSE’s Activism, Influencing and Change Programme. He also serves as the Director of the Global Executive Leadership Initiative’s Influencing Programme. In addition to his academic and leadership roles, Duncan acts as a ‘critical friend’ consultant to the Building Community Engagement in Papua New Guinea programme.

From 2004 to 2024, Duncan worked with Oxfam GB, initially as Head of Research and later as Strategic Adviser. During his time at Oxfam, he became widely known for his influential “From Poverty to Power” blog.
