In this episode, we talk to Ofer Fridman. Ofer is a senior lecturer in War Studies and Director of Operations at King’s College London Centre for Strategic Communication. His main research subject areas are about conflict and security, focusing more closely on the intersection between strategic communications, military thinking and contemporary conflicts, including information confrontations, the role of civilian casualties and military transformations. His most recently published book, “Strategiya: The Foundation of the Russian Art of Strategy” (2021) looks at what Western experts and analysts have gotten wrong about Russian strategy, and unpacks how the West should change its conception of the Kremlin.
