Kailyn Johnson
Kailyn Johnson is the Cyber Intelligence and Geopolitical Risk Lead at Sibylline where she leads the Cyber regional desk in conducting cyber risk analysis and strategic forecasting. Her work focuses cyber trends, emphasising analysis on the wider context for how cyber threats are connected to geopolitical affairs and physical security incidents, and the implications of cyber threats to businesses’ operations globally. She previously has worked as a cyber threat intelligence analyst for a threat intelligence platform conducting strategic intelligence research and analysis. Similarly, she worked as a cyber threat intelligence consultant at two large technology consultancy firms, conducting threat intelligence research, consultancy engagements, and securit investigations as well as alert reporting for clients’ network security. She has presented at multiple global conferences including in Belfast, London, and Johannesburg.
Her educational background is extensive, completing her undergraduate degrees in Psychology, Criminology and Forensic Anthropology at the University of Montana. She also obtained two Master’s degree in International Security, Intelligence, and Strategic Studies from the University of Glasgow and Charles University Prague, as well as received a certificate in Intelligence and Analysis from Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (OTH) Regensburg in Germany.
